What are Pokémon Scarlet/Violet?
Generation IX is the last generation of the Pokémon video game series, comprising of two main titles: Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. They are both set in the Paldea region and are open world. Players can catch hundreds of Pokémon, even some new species in Generation IX. The games also feature the concept of Tera Type, where Pokémon can alter their Tera Type while playing a match. Both Scarlet and Violet have similar gameplay systems and story foundations, but there are some differences, including Pokémon exclusive to certain versions, legendary Pokémon, and character and visual differences. Both of them have got a Nintendo Switch port.
